Wheel Stop Installation Safety Tips

Whether you call them wheel stops, parking blocks, or tire stops...installing them properly can not only keep your property safe, it can also prevent possible lawsuits.
DO:
Limit wheel stop length to 6’ and height to 6.5”
Ensure an adequate walkway of at least 3’ between wheel stops
Ensure that wheel stops contrast with surrounding pavement (ours come in 5 different colors)
Ensure that wheel stops are adequately illuminated
Install durable wheel stops backed by a Lifetime Warranty
DO NOT:
Place wheel stops in a walkway or a foreseeable pedestrian path
Allow wheel stops to remain in place if they are broken or deteriorated
Assume that wheel stops will prevent vehicle incursions onto sidewalks, that's what properly installed bollards are for
